Drew - I was disappointed in this shoe. The portion of the shoe that supports the arch on the side, makes a sticking noise on each shoe as you walk. It is like your foot is sticking to the shoe.

When I ordered mine, I ordered it in wide. They feel great and very cute. The metal never bothered my arches, which are high. Also, I've had a knee and hip recently replaced. BUT I LOVE MY SHOES!!! Beauty and comfort.

Mary KA misstep! Very disappointed in this shoe.Gosh, I so wanted to love this shoe! It looks adorable in the photo, but alas, it did not work out in real life. I'm a huge fan of Annies, and own many pair, several in many colors. This was the first Annie shoe I've ever bought that I truly didn't like. It was extremely wide, when I've never found Annie shoes to be wider than expected; the entire top portion was stiff and uncomfortable; it had very little bottom padding and arch support, and in the black version, there are places where the white bottom padding is visible along the sides right next to the black strap, which looks like a flaw in the design. My husband looked at it on my foot and said it even "looked" uncomfortable. I was looking for a cute black flat that was slip-on, since I can't wear thongs and don't like a back strap, but this just didn't work out.
