Description: Running shoe built for the severe over-pronator who requires a combination of cushioning and reinforced stability. SCS (Shear Cantilever System) combines a beveled heel and decoupling lateral crash zone with a single layer Cantilever technology that is highly adaptive to each runner s unique shear forces being applied at heel strike. Cantilever technology centers the heel of the foot over a concave sole. The concave sole performs similar to a trampoline to soften impact, stabilize the heel and provide increased energy return. Dura-Ryd blown mixture of EVA and PU, placed in the forefoot and heel areas, provides superior cushioning upon impact. Dura-Stryk, a high-abrasion carbon rubber compound, is employed in high-wear areas to increase outsole durability. Upper is constructed with lightweight microfiber and air mesh for a breathable feel. 3M reflective features further enhance the upper. Removable, molded sockliner is produced with Ortholite to provide antibacterial properties. Dual-durometer, compression molded EVA midsole offers a cushioned ride. Forefoot flex grooves and TPR support struts are added to the midsole for increased flexibility and support. Exposed TPU shank and blown rubber forefoot combine with Dura-Stryk to offer durable traction.
