An elegant dance shoe - I like this dance shoe as it looks good and feels good on stage. Haven't worn it enough yet to know how comfortable it would be teaching, but for performance it's great. I got a full size smaller than usual as the back slipped on the larger size.

Between sizes - The sizing for this shoe runs a bit larger than average, but not large enough that I felt I could go down a half-size. As I wear the shoes for dancing, they are a bit larger (and longer) than ideal. The shoes were tight when new (a good sign in an all leather dance shoe), but they stretched out quickly. They are now quite comfortable. My only concern is that if they continue to stretch out they will be a bit loose. As I am wearing them only as a practice shoe, I would be able to solve this problem by wearing a very thin sock. Not the most stylish solution, but one I have resorted to in other dance shoes that have stretched out too much with wear.

luv this shoe - These shoes are comfortable to dance in, versatile for musical theater, jazz, and ballroom. Stable heel, beautiful line.

The best - I've tried almost every character shoe out there and these are the best dance shoes for a wider foot - they are internally braced and therefore very sturdy. This was a great price for them as well.

Silver STAR -When I decided to purchase this shoe I wasn't sure I would like it. It is BEAUTIFUL!!! The leather is like butter and it's very well crafted. I was worried about the heel looking a little chunky but it has turned out to be "just right". My only problem seems that I got a size too large....already ordered the next size down for comparison.....but DEFINATELY keepers.:> I bought these for dance but plan on wearing them out on the town...so gorgeous...how can I resist?!?!by the way...EXCELLENT service from Zappos...AS USUAL!!!
