Replaces the famed CG09 Premiere Tap Shoe. As Classic as it gets with oxford styling, a non-slip heel counter, a full box toe and a comfortable leather upper that already looks broken in. A velvet-soft, So Suede lining provides moisture and bacteria control. More comfort from a shock-absorbing, foam footbed; fully-lined with pig skin. The flexible micro rubber sole is durable, shock absorbent and includes a scored rubber sole patch for traction and control. Tele Tone toe and heel taps, mounted on a spring steel sound board, increase resonance and create the superior Xtreme sound. 3/4 heel.

Great shoes - My old Capezios finally wore out and it was time for a new pair. I decided to go for this new style and I'm quite pleased. They sound great on my kitchen floor...can't wait to wear them in class tomorrow! The leather is supple and the toe box is comfy. Not to mention, they got here lightning fast. Zappos rocks. Street shoe sizing worked for me; I was amazed that I didn't have to go through several returns to find the right fit.

Not the Best Replacement - These shoes are ok but they are meant for more experienced dancers, and they don't hold up too well. I would suggest the Capezio Premieres which these shoes replaced, they are a sturdier shoe and only have one screw so it is easier to adjust the sound. All though they are discontinued you can still purchase them at some local dance shops or you can order them online at some very good prices. I love Zappos but I wouldn't suggest these shoes.

great shoes - They might be a tiny bit on the small side, but I fit into the same size as my regular shoes. The price was right.

They work for me!I'm a casual tap student taking 2 classes weekly. I wear size 7 or 7.5 street shoe but 8 WIDE in these tap shoes. I have arthritis in toes & sometimes ball-of-foot pain. These shoes are comfy for me & the tap sound is good. I've only worn them in 2 classes & they are fine so far!
