Very functional, a tad too utilitarian - Took these on a 9 day trip to Rome as my "non-American" daily hiking shoe. They were a little stiff at first, and the first few days my feet were sore, now they are OK. Very waterproof, easy to put on. Style wise, they are very durable if you are going to get them dirty or muddy but I wouldn't take them anywhere fashionable. Sort of a low top utility boot. Would be great for walks on muddy trails or construction sites.

LarryMy favorite Brand does it again - Clarks is a longtime favorite that satisfies my needs quite well once again. I often find it difficult to find shoes with a nice fit because I require a wide shoe. Certain Brands I know to avoid even trying, they just make them too narrow. But I know with Clarks I will find a very well made shoe that fits right and is also comfortable.Clarks' Pobeda has an attractively rugged style. The fit is the typical "Great Fit" of Clarks.Not the most cushion filled sole compared to some Clarks I own, but still above average.The waterproof feature has been a blessing this winter!
