David MHeed the size warning!Notice the size warning in the Zappos description. For men's sizes these really are a half size larger than marked. You need to choose a half size down from normal. Everything else is great. They're super comfortable right out of the box and look great.

JcAll-season All-Stars (for California, at least)I've been wearing Chuck Taylors continuously for over 20 years, but every winter they get put away. Canvas just isn't too practical in the rain, and it doesn't do much as far as temperature insulation, either. With these shoes I finally have some year-round All-Stars, and the leather uppers look fantastic. There's some extra insole cushioning, too, which is nice for us old geezers. And of course, Zappos' service and speed continue to amaze me. I'll never set foot in a shoe store again!!!

Dexcellent choice - These are the best chucks i have purchased yet. They fit just the same as the regular canvas chucks but also include an insole so your feet get good support.

Dan DGreat shoe - Speedy delivery and great looking shoe. I did think the leather looked a little faux, but still looks good. The fit is true to size, I stand at work, and have worn them for like 10 hours and with an arch support insole the comfort level is more like a 12...
