A sporty element and a serious attitude toward comfort describes Drew s newest athletic shoe. Lightning Velcro has all the features of a Drew in a comfortable athletic shoe. Double depth with two removable insoles provide a customized fit with a breathable mesh vamp and quarter linings. Genuine leather uppers. Two Velcro closures for a great fit. A polyurethane, EVA and Drilex insole keeps the foot cool and dry. Padded tongue and collar for added comfort. A rocker bottom with wide shank adds to the shoe's overall comfort and performance. Flexible rubber outsole. Accommodates prescribed orthotics. HCPCS Code A5500.

Drew Thunder Velcro - I use orthotics and this shoe works very well with them. A sturdier shoe than the New Balance 811, as the price reflects, but worth the money.

Best walking shoe on the market. Comfort beats them all - Tremendous comfort. Excellent width at 4EEEE. Lots of room for orthotics. One of most comfortable, if not the most comfortable shoe of this type I have owned. Heel cushioning excellent. Lots of room in front part of shoe for those that have that need, best in this area of any shoe I have tried. Recommend highly as best of its type. If you are a 10 1/2 in dress shoe, get this one in 11 and it will be perfect. Probably deepest foot bed of any shoe you can get which is perfect for orthotics, could leave the shoe insert in and would still be ok for orthotics and comfort is better.

At Last!!!I have been trying to find shoes with the Velcro, wide enough for my husband. He has extremely wide feet and not that long. Others that I have found have not been wide enough. His comment was "I've never had a pair of shoes that felt so good"! Many, many thanks!!

This is a great shoe - If you need support or if you are on your feet a lot, this is your shoe. Excellent arch support, nice width and stability, and it comes with two removable insoles so you can tailor the shoe if you need to. I also wear the New Balance 926 and this shoe is even more comfortable than my New Balance.

Shoe good for use with brace/orthotic - Difficult to find a comfortable walking shoe which will accommodate an orthotic attached to a short leg brace, and the removable insoles and Drew construction do this, with reasonable arch support.
