I love my boots!I love these boots. I bought them for the style. It is everything I expected, after reading the reviews. For comfort, I had to put in a gel insole. These boots really need it. They do run on the narrow side, but I have narrow feet, so they fit me fine. The boots are not pointy, so they don't pinch my toes. And the heel base and height give me stability. I live in Manhattan and I walk everywhere in these boots, they just need time to break in.

Color - I just left a review earlier and want to add a note about the color of these boots. I chose "Espresso" expecting a dark brown. The color is unexpected. Depending on the light, it sometimes has a purplish/black hue and other times more of a dark grey. The color of the stitching is medium brown. I like the color as it's softer than black, but it certainly is not brown!

Very attractive, unique-looking boot! I was concerned from the picture that the heel would be too clunky, but it was just fine once I tried them on. I have very narrow (13") calves and they are just slightly big around the shaft. I may get them taken in but could easily wear them "as is". They are unlined so an alteration probably would not be too difficult. They hug my average-to-narrow feet very nicely and are very comfortable. I'm looking forward to wearing these this winter. They are a beautifully made and finished boot.

Very unique boot!!I love my boots. I get a lot of compliments and they're one of my favorites. I did have to have them stretched by the width (feet only) because they are narrower than normal.

Overall Good - Tight around right before the toe. I bought a size 8.5 and had to have it stretched. Length of shoes was fine. There is a seam that separates the toe piece from the rest of the shoe which rubs against your foot and is uncomfortable after long periods of wear.
