When my Taryn Rose sandal strap broke in the middle of a long trip (someone stepped down on the shoe as my foot moved upward to take a step -- not Taryn Rose's fault), I put the Iso Janes on as a backup shoe. They certainly weren't as comfortable as the Taryn Rose shoes, which have extraordinary cushioning and arch support, but they served well. I was able to march across Italian cobble stones, through museums and even over the rubble of archaeological sites in reasonable comfort and lots of style. They only problem is that when they scuff, the silver rubs right off.

AkGentle Souls are gentle on the feet - These shoes are adorable and very comfortable. I wear a size 7 1/2, but ordered a size 8. I should have ordered the correct size, but the extra length in the toe is going to be OK. This shoe looks wonderful with slacks and capris.

Anne PGentle Soul's Iso Jane - Okay - finally someone made a shoe that is truly comfy and cute as well. I am a hairdresser and stand behind the chair all day. I bought the Iso Jane in hope of finding a shoe that I can work in all day - and look cute too. Finally! This is the most comfy shoe in my closet and believe me I have tons of shoes. I have not stopped wearing them since I got them. Thank you a gazillion times. I am ordering the same shoe in black and I guess I will have to order other Gentle Souls - maybe all of them! Oh- and thank you for such awesome service. You guys rock.

Diane GPerfect flat - Some of the new flatter shoes just make my feet look HUGE and if wearing a skirt, don't make my legs look their best. These are feminine and can be dressed up or down and unbelievably comfortable! This will not be my last pair of Gentle Souls.

M. AA GEM - I had been looking for a comfortable shoe that was also nice enough to wear to work and for social events. This is the shoe. I bought it in black. Every detail of this shoe is made for comfort. The elastic band is soft and pliable around the instep and on the back of the ankle and the sole is as soft as a slipper. Gentle Souls cost more, but is worth every cent. This will be my brand from now on and Zappos notifies me when new styles arrive. Thanks Zappos for outstanding service, and thanks to Gentle Souls for designing a truly comfortable and attractive shoe.
