The new version of the Gallatin is definitely not like the original. I've owned 8 pairs of this model from Trask over the past several years. It's now clunky looking, and I couldn't get it B width anymore. Too bad, it was a very versatile shoe with good lines. Now, it reminds me of the old Rockports that you see in retirement communities.

DanGood shoes - Zappos provided excellent service, so far. I ordered two pair to ensure good fit and need to return one. Hopefully that part of Zappos service will be excellent as well.Trask shoes are high quality, as one would hope, given the price.
