MicheleNot bad, but too small - I had a pair of Hi-Tec hiking boots in the 80s and they were very good. I ordered these in a size 8 -- I wear a 7 1/2 or 8, so thought they would work according to other reviews. The size 8 was very short -- felt more like a size 7 to me. I sent them back, and ordered some New Balance hiking shoes instead. I really try to avoid shoes made overseas whenever possible, but that isn't very realistic these days! Apparently the sizing is very inconsistent with these due to the manufacturing situation.

Not bad - The boot looks cute and gives a nice ankle support if you are going to walk in rugged terrain. The shoe is comfortable, but if you are going to wear them all day (and mostly standing up, like I usually do when I wear them) then you should buy orthopedic insoles, but the shoe is reasonably priced and was what I was looking for and could afford.

MicheleGreat Boot. Very Well Made - Loved the quality of the boots & the look! They were also very lightweight; they just didn’t work for my feet. I have wide feet & my heel kept slipping out of it, causing blisters. If they made a 6 3/4 I would have been all set!
