Cutest big shoes I've ever bought - I bought these because I needed something for hiking and walking a lot when we travel and I need arch support. Most of the shoes out there are just hideous. But not these, they are actually really cute on. My feet don't look like boats. They were immediately comfortable. There was no breaking in period. The arch support is good but they are NOT Danskos.

Another perfect fit - I now have five pairs of Keen shoes and this one fits as perfect as the other four. I bought them to wear on the trail and also at work a few days a week. They felt great immediately and my feet are not aching at the end of the day. I have not had the opportunity to wear them hiking yet, but I expect them to work out great.

Keen Ukiah - Not suitable for rough trail running. Maybe OK for flat, soft trails. Poor arch support. Cut too low at ankles, so poor ankle support. Not enough lacing and couldn't get the shoe to fit well and securely. Loved the look though. Nice wide toe box.

Run very small - I read some of the reviews that said to order a half size up, which I did and they were still too small. I would recommend ordering a full size up. I think it these fit properly, I would really like them. However, because of the off sizing, I have gotten blisters and they simply hurt. So I tie them really loose, which is not that practical for running. I am bummed out that I can't wear them very much because they look really cool.

Keen knows! These shoes saved my hiking trip! I injured an Achilles tendon and ended up backpacking in flip flops. A couple of weeks later I went to many different shoe stores, but everything I tried on was too painful to wear. Because I have the added challenge of finding a "vegan" shoe, finding these was an almost magical experience. I loved them and can't wait to try other keen shoes.
