Gustavo RToo noisy - So, I read the previous review that mentioned the noisiness of the shoes, but I bought them anyway. I failed to heed the warning and now I am paying for it. You definitely sound like either the sheriff or a mariachi when you walk around in these things. You literally sound like you're wearing spurs. I don't see how any reasonable person could wear these in a normal office environment. The first day I wore them to work I ended up breaking off the metal piece and then used my scissors to cut off the leather loops that had previously held them on. They are comfortable and look fine now without the metal bar that used to run across the front, but it is probably not worth the hassle. I own a similar pair of Kenneth Cole shoes with a metal bar that do not make noise, so it must be something about this particular design. Perhaps that's why they're on sale...

Simple comfort - The stitching on the top part of the shoe came apart after wearing the shoes once!

Dr. DClassy but run a bit thin - Perhaps I just have wide foot but my shoe size is 9.5 but I wear 10's for the width. This size 10 was a bit snugger, but after a few days of breaking them in, they are still snug, but I can at least feel my toes. Just by looking at the shoes they definitely look thin but they are great looking shoes especially in brown. It's hard to find classy dress shoes that aren't tassel or penny loafers or lace-ups so these really fit the bill! My only other criticism is the metal piece in the front rings a bit, almost like a tiny spur sounding noise, so if you are trying to creep up on someone in stealth mode, you aren't going to do it in these shoes. I care more about the look not the sounds so as long as you don't mind that, these are great shoes!
