ClairePretty good boots. Expensive, and in sum, worth it, but with some downsides. This boot is very practical - it is warm, easy to wear, comfortable for all day wear on your feet, and has some heel height. I am usually a 6.5 M, but I got the 6W and there is plenty of room including for knee high socks, etc. I haven't used them outdoors, but La Canadiennes are just a well constructed brand, I would not be afraid to be out in inclement weather in them. The major downside is that they are too short for knee high boots, ending a good 2 inches from my knees. I'm 5'7" but do not have particularly long legs (alas). They are also a bit gappy, not enough to make me return them, but enough to deduct points from overall perfection. I keep them though because they are so wearable. Oh, the heel is cute with the smooth leather, it's a practical wedge that gives some height. The wedge is a bit light though, I feel balance would be better with a tad more weight in the heel.

Love these boots!I am a runner, so I have really muscular calves and these boots are the only ones that fit over them comfortably. They are also warm and extremely comfortable for walking. Plus they're beautifully made and look quite cute with tights. Definitely very pleased.

Great boots - These boots are stylish, comfortable, and practical. They can be worn in the snow, and they feel and look great. I have a hard time finding boots like this that actually come in Narrow. The price is a little high, but they are worth every penny!

KatyBeautiful and well made - I've tried on quite a few pairs of La Canadienne boots, appreciating their high level of workmanship, foot cradling comfort and waterproofness. But they all are styled for women with smaller ankles than mine, much to my disappointment. I will try some of the ankle boots and see if they work for me. If it weren't for that one little sizing issue, I'd definitely buy these boots!
