RuthLook great but don't feel the same - These boots have good quality materials and workmanship but lack arch support and heel cushion. I really like how they look but was not comfortable wearing them.

Uncomfortable shoes - I was looking for some stylish comfortable boots that I could walk in and wear all day. After just a few hours, my legs ached and were tired and my lower back was strained. These have no support and are like walking on concrete barefoot.

MelissaNot very sexy, but VERY comfortable!I ordered these while searching for a pair of boots that would keep my feet warm and comfortable and keep me safely on my feet during a pregnant winter's commute. These are excellent. They were really comfortable right out of the box. The shaft is loose enough to tuck slim pants into, and it doesn't constrict my ankles the way dressier boots do. The boots look clumpier and flatter, with less shape to the sole, in real life than they do in the picture, and they have little arch support (which doesn't bother me, but I'll add a padded insole). With the essentially flat sole and rough-grained pebbly upper, they're definitely not particularly sexy or sophisticated boots, but dang are they comfy. (The shaft is also insulated/padded for extra warmth.) I expect to wear these waddling into my ninth month!
