Description: Originally designed as the shoe that the winner of the Western States 100 would wear start to finish, the Vitesse has remained unchanged in Montrail's line since 1996. Many people are devoted to this shoe. Karl Meltzer (winner of the last two Hardrock 100s) won't consider any other models. Nothing wraps my foot and gives me the kind of security that the Vitesse does.
