The calves were huge, much larger than I expected (or than it looked in the picture). I am pregnant so I did not expect to have this problem with these boots, but, sadly, I had to return them.

Sha-sha-shoe FVery cute and great for bad weather - This is a great winter boot for those who like a little bit if a heel. I am 5'3" and never wear flats, so, this was a great choice. The only thing is, it felt much smaller than the usual 8.5 I normally wear, and so I had to exchange it for a 9, which was fine with the thin socks I wear. If you wear thick socks with your boots, I would almost order a full size larger instead of 1/2 size larger. Otherwise, this a great boot for sloppy winter weather. I am happy with the fit, comfort and style of these boots.
