Good shoe, not as nice as older model Rockports - I was a longtime wearer of Rockports in the past, but have not owned a pair in the last 5 or 6 years due to the cost of replacing the soles. I thought I would try another pair. These do not fit quite the same as the Rockports wingtips of the past. They run a little narrower. I do not like the styling with the more square toe as much as the older styles with a more classical look. Also, the cordovan color on these shoes leans more to the brown than the classic dark burgundy cordovan of the past. For the price, I do not find great value in this shoe. I kept them because I have a hard to fit foot and could not find anything else in the general style type that fit me better. I am generally satisfied, but will probably not buy another pair. The Bostonian Phillips is a better value, but has the negative aspect of having soles that mark vinyl floors very badly and do not come in cordovan.

The only problem I have ever experienced is, with the exception of athletic shoes, the shoe laces break within the first two weeks for every pair of shoes I have purchase. The cost of the new shoe laces is small, but it is very annoying.

Great Shoes!Very comfortable right out of the box. Great looking shoe with high level of comfort to match. Fit is great even with my custom orthotics. Shoe looks like you paid several hundred dollars for it.

Good shoe - Ordered an oxblood pair. Received in 2 days. I wore them 1 day, came home from work and ordered a pair in black. They feel like an "OLD FRIEND".

Nice, comfy shoe. Beyond the shoe, I must say that the customer service from Zappos was outstanding.
