BettyLonger when wider...I have worn several types of Rockport shoes over the years; I ordered this shoe in a 9-1/2 "Wide" based on reviews. However, this shoe fit a half size larger than marked; I would suggest ordering a half size down when ordering the Wide width. It is a beautiful, well-made shoe and would be quite comfortable with the proper fit.

Great & Comfortable Shoes - I wore these shoes all over Italy. I walked miles, walked up a mountain, went up innumerable steps and they were always comfortable. I also wore them out evenings with dressier cloths. Loved them so much my daughter is now ordering a pair. I have a narrow foot and the medium was fine.

Rockport Claremont - Very, very comfortable and well made, but narrow. I wear narrow to medium width and had to order wide width. The adjustable strap is an excellent feature. Great support, yet feminine.

Narrow!I liked the look of these. However, I ordered the wide width and they felt narrower than my medium width shoes. Unfortunately I have to send these back.
