I have only worn these around the house so far, in case I had to send them back. They won't be going back!!! They are beautiful, comfortable, lightweight yet supportive. Have had no trouble with the crossover straps. Love that they have no buckles, etc. FYI I bought the silver in 7-1/2 med, though in a shoe I have been taking 7W due to arthritis, etc. No problem with this size fitting me. Looks good w/denim or dressed-up.

As always Zappos did not let me down - You people are incredible! I placed my order at 12 noon and in 24 hrs I had my beautiful shoes. They are very comfortable and very well made and true to size. I am very pleased with your company you have never let me down your customer service is the best. They should have a price for the best customer service - you could easily win it! High style and comfort - This is a beautiful shoe - especially the silver - the finish on the leather and the chrome like shine on the insole is SO nice. It is simple, but sophisticated. Easy to wear, but still has a sexy edge. The shoe is a medium and somewhat wide in the heel for me to give it the highest comfort rating - I have narrow feet and I have to place my feet in exactly the right spot to get the best fit, there is still the potential for "roll" when walking. They are lightweight and the sole technology is awesome. You get great cushioning and this resilient air chamber embedded in the shoe - it almost returns energy to your foot - you can really feel it. These are running larger than the other Rockports I own - I ordered an 11, but returned it for a 10.

Great Shoe - I have had a considerable amount of foot surgery and have a real problem finding a pair of "dressy" sandals. These were just perfect very soft leather and the crossover straps are placed far enough back to avoid "flopping" or slipping.

Jennifer - I ordered this shoe in bronze. When it arrived I was very impressed with not only the color but the comfort, fit and overall quality of the shoe as well. No breaking-in necessary. It looks great and is lightweight. The leather is very soft and comfortable and hugs the foot just enough to keep it from sliding forward. I have just ordered a second pair in black.
