PERFECT SANDAL!! I have absolutely fallen in love with this sandal! I used to wear them when I was little, and now my daughter does as well! My daughter just had her 2nd birthday, and I have always purchased the Stride Rite Daffodil sandal for her...no more! I still think the Stride Rite is an awesome sandal, but the Salt Water Sandal fits my daughter's foot perfectly. These are high quality shoes, a classic design, and at a great price. I can't believe the price is so reasonable considering the quality of this shoe. Another great feature is that it is a classic buckle sandal, no Velcro, so it's not as easily taken off by young toddlers. The sole is a little stiff out of the box, so I just bent/folded them at the ball of the shoe (like you would a Birkenstock), and they were ready for wear. Also, if your child's feet tend to get blisters easily, the manufacturer recommends that you wet them, put them on your child, and as they dry, they will form perfectly to the shape of their feet. Therefore, creating a custom fit. You may not have to do this, as the leather on these seems soft enough not to cause blisters, yet firm enough to keep its shape. The icing on the cake? They come in several colors! Love it!

Cute sandal - We just bought these in the fuchsia color and they are so cute. I have to agree with the other reviews and say they run about a half size larger, the width was fine for my 32 month old. We bought the size 8 and my daughter will have some room to grow but not enough for her to trip all the time. My daughter wore them around the house for a long time before she wanted them off, for her that's extremely unusual, she HATES shoes. I have to conclude that these must be comfortable and thanks to Zappos for getting them here so fast. Great sandal for the price!!

Fantastic Sandals - I am thrilled that these shoes are still made! My four children wore them all through the 70's and early 80's. They are virtually indestructible - our kids wore them in salt water, fresh water, and on a daily basis where we lived. I bought them in pink for my new granddaughter who lives on a beach. They will be perfect and she can wear them every day when she begins toddling about!

Great summer shoe for little girls - We needed a shoe that had no plastic because of my 1-year-old's sensitive skin (Crocs gave her a rash). These are great! They can get wet, look cute, and protect her little toes. I do recommend getting the shoes wet and letting your child wear them while the shoes are wet so they form to your child's feet.

I love the Hoy Salt Water Sandals!My daughter loves these sandals. I am very picky about what sandals I put on my children. These are comfortable on her feet and they are easy to walk in. These are great. I will definitely buy this brand and style again. Zappos shipping is THE BEST!
