Beauty is painful - These boots are absolutely beautiful looking, BUT, BUT, BUT they are so heavy I hardly ever wear them. I work outdoors in the rural countryside, but I cannot wait to get these off at the end of the day. Its like having 2 weights on your feet. Therefore, I do not find myself wearing these often because they are just too heavy. They have good support and look nice, but I would never do a long hike in these.

Looks great, a little stiff, runs small - The heel is a little narrow, but that may be for hiking support. I am a perfect size 7 and ordered 7.5. (37.5). If you want to wear two pairs of socks or thick wool "smart wool" socks, you'll want a minimum half size larger. Even with the 7.5 I can feel my toes touching the front of the boot, I'm ordering an 8 and an 8.5. The boots feel extremely stiff, but I'm assuming since the company has been around for 50 years, that they will break in. I also tried the Vasque Sundowner GTX, and it was awesome except, the Scarpa looks cooler. Also, the ankle is pretty comfortable for how stiff the rest of the boot is.
