GREAT SPLISH-SPLASH SHOE!I ordered this shoe because it's made from neoprene - the same stuff as wetsuits. Thought it would be good for my son to splash around in the fountains at the playground or at the waterpark. It's PERFECT for that, BUT - make sure you have another pair of shoes to put on after, as these don't dry very quickly! The nice soft fabric is a good alternate to the Crocs-type sandals, which gave him blisters. Although I did get a wide width size, it fits more like a medium width - so keep that in mind if your child has very wide feet!

Mother OImpossible fit - Boy, whoever mentioned narrow fit wasn't kidding. Normally our son wears an 8 regular; fit has never been a problem before. To play it safe we got this in a 9 regular -- too big. So returned and got it in an 8W -- terribly tight; can't get the shoe on. We’re going to have to send these back too. A shame -- our son loved the design and we were looking forward to the practicality of all-terrain use. These sandals are well-themed as they would probably fit an octopus nicely.
