Granny PGreat fit, not very durable - I loved this shoe because 1) Stride Rite is one of the few childrens' shoe manufacturers that consistently makes wide sizes available, and 2) because of the velcro closure that made it easy for even my 19-month old to remove his shoes quickly. However, after about a month of both of us pulling on them, the rubber on the top of the velcro gave way. He still wears them to play in, but I was a little disappointed.

BethanyWell Pleased - I bought these New Balance tennis shoes for my 16 month old grandson - his foot is very wide - so we have a hard time finding him shoes. We were very satisfied with the overall product.

TrishThe best first shoes - I bought these for my 11 month old last summer when he started to walk. We absolutely love these shoes and bought them in sizes 6.5, 7, and 7.5 so he could keep wearing them as he grew (different colors for variety of course). They are very easy to put on and take off and seemed very comfortable to him. His foot slipped right in. The toe guard scraped immediately and didn't look as nice, but that is to be expected. He's on his last pair right now - he's 19 months now. I'd recommend these shoes to anyone.
