Igor ZOverall good shoe - My son has a wide foot and we ordered the XW. It fits but is not as wide as I thought it would be. If you usually need a wide shoe I would definitely order the XW. A little bulky as well.

Felt all around smaller than marked. The shoe is stiff and the tongue is short making it hard to get on a two year old. But they are very cute and once they are on, they seem to fit right.

Width is narrower than normal SR sizing - My (2 year old) son has HUGE feet and wears 10XW in Stride Rite shoes. I bought these in a 10.5XW (to accommodate the next growth spurt) and found that they are not as wide as the other XW shoes from Stride Rite. They are adorable shoes, but they leave depressions on the sides of my son's feet from being a bit snug and after taking them off, he sits and rubs his feet.
