Sizes are whacked - These shoes are totally out of whack with the sizes. I ordered my 2-year old a size 10 1/2, and it was a full INCH (TWO sizes) over the size charts. Zappos didn't have any smaller sizes, so I got the Ecco Trailblazer instead, and have never been happier. It cost $30 more, but it is a gorgeous shoe, and the wide size was perfect.

WinativeAnother great Stride Rite sandal - My son has extra wide feet but these sandals fit him in a 7.5 W. The selection of shoes for kids w/ really wide feet is dismal so I was happy to see that these fit him so well. They also stretch out a little bit which is a nice bonus for my little one!

Great classic sandal - I can always trust Stride-Rite to make a good shoe. Will last all summer long. I did order wide and it seemed a little bigger than normal overall.

Church-worthy sport-ute sandals - Since we don't live in an area with long, very hot summers, I didn't want to have to buy a whole wardrobe full of sandals for my 2 yr. old son. I was looking for one pair that would suffice for play AND dress-up. These fit the bill. Toes are protected, outsoles nice and bendy, insoles soft and cushy, no break-in time, no complaints, no blisters. Did seem to run 1/2 size larger than his other shoes - had to exchange the original size purchased - but maybe it's just because of the no-socks factor?
