Anat PNot as wide as marketed - This shoe in a 2x wide size is not nearly as wide as you might hope, at least in the bigger boys' sizes (11.5). The velcro would barely close over my 5-yr-old's foot, meaning the strap pinched the top of his foot and his skin came into contact with the velcro (vs. leather) part.Good looking shoe, though.

It's the second pair we've bought - My son has very wide feet, with a wide girth, and this is the only sandal I've found on-line that fits well. He wore this same model last summer, and this year I bought a second pair. They are very durable, I rinsed them several times with water when they got dirty, the fit was good and they are comfortable. It isn't my favorite style, but I don't have much choice in that matter. So bottom line - highly recommended.As for Zappos' service - perfect yet again,

Great Sandal!I love these sandals. My son needs an XW shoe and they can be difficult to find. These shoes are comfortable and easy for him to take off and put on.

Great, easy to put on sandal - This is the second pair of this type of sandal that I have bought for my 3 year old. I love how he can put them on by himself. They are a great fit, and don't look too "babyish". The width is also great for my son's very wide foot.
