Reptile Tie Shoes - My grandson had before this pair, the Reptile Low slip on shoes. He just loved them. In fact he wore them out. He looked at all the Stride Rite and when he saw these, they are the ones he wanted. He didn't care that they were tie. This is his first pair of tie shoes and he learned to tie them in one day. Since he was a toddler he has always worn what we call the blinky shoes. Those are the ones that light up. I was very surprised that he wanted different ones. These are really cool shoes. They look like they have lizard eyes. We just love Stride-rite and the fact that Zappos has then and the latest styles is wonderful. Also the fact that you place your order one day and then you receive them the next is something that no other company does that I know of. Zappos you are fantastic. Thank you again for having shoes that our grandchildren just love to look at.

Careful - Great shoe: looks, comfort, all. Just don't pull the laces to hard - it tore a part of our first pair (but we ordered a second pair anyway).

Great Shoe - My 4 year old really loves these shoes. Both my husband and I think they look pretty cool. It fits my son's wide foot well, they go on easily, and he says they are comfortable. The laces don't stay tied very well.

Perfect tomboy shoe. . .My daughter, who won't wear anything "girlish" is always a challenge when I try to find a sneaker that is good looking but also stylish. She adores these "lizard" shoes, as do all the boys in her class! Comfy and able to work in gym class, for a hike, or for a violin lesson. Cool shoes!

Shoes for grandson - My grandson loves these shoes. He has a wide foot and we have trouble finding shoes for him. I ordered three pair and let him choose. He immediately fell in love with these and wouldn't even try on the others. He wears them all the time and loves the "eyes".
