Excellent Fit, Needs Different Laces - Excellent fit, wide enough for my son, good quality. Easy to put on. The one problem is the laces, which must be double-tied or they come untied in a few minutes. Another solution would be to replace the ties. Good looking, goes with most clothes.

Great Shoes!My son loves his new shoes! I usually stick with this brand because my boys have wide feet. They look really nice too!

Be Careful on Sizin - I ordered this shoe in a youth 4W based on the Stride Rite webpage "Size Calculator" that you print out and measure you child's foot. The calculator said my son needed a 3.5 M but I knew better and ordered a 4W. It was still too short and too narrow. I had to return it, but Zappos is GREAT about returns, it d/n come in 4.5W so I had to go to a New Balance 4.5XW and we'll see how that works when it comes tomorrow.

Lasted less than 2 months - They were very comfortable, but they started to tear in the toe area where the mesh connects to the leather. We buy Stride Rite all the time, but this is the first time they wore out before growing out.
