CarolI never have to worry about a Stride Rite shoe not fitting. I have 2 children with extra wide feet and I can't buy shoes in a regular store for them. But as long as I get a Stride Rite Wide, then I know they will fill. They are tough shoes! My children are extremely rough on their shoes, and we've never had one wear out or tear. You just can't go wrong with them.
