The shoe is nice but has no arch support. Also the size is true to size but the claps are to short, also it's very narrow for a child that is wider up top to fit into. The rubber on the shoes does not move well on the foot so on a hot sunny day the leather can rub and leave welts on the foot if the shoe does not fit right.

OK, but hard to clean - It's a good show for kids with wide feet. Easy to put on and off. Once muddy they look a bit worn. Not sure how to clean.

Wonderful find!My wife and I have been searching for a pair of closed toe sandals for our daughter. These fit the bill perfectly. Besides, who can go wrong with a sandal that has an octopus on the bottom? And it's a Stride Rite! My daughter absolutely loves them.

Stride Rite Del Mar Fisherman - These shoes are adorable and look very cute on. However the design is such that the strap across the foot is very short and so not very adjustable. The shoe ended up being too tight on my daughter. It is also not very wide.

But I thought they were so cute online...I really thought these shoes were cute when I ordered them. They still are cute - but the other issues over shadow the cuteness. The problems didn't really come to light until she wore them for a little while. On my daughters foot they seem tight around the ankle and long in the length, which make them resemble duck feet. The material doesn't really allow her foot to breathe either. At the end of the day, when I take them off - her foot is sweaty and dirty. She is 2.5 yrs old and can't put them on by herself (which is frustrating for both of us). We've only had those 3 weeks and some of the orange trim is starting to peel off. I really can't recommend this shoe.
