Cute shoe - but a little stiff - My daughter thought the shoes were "adorable", but when she tried them on she said that it hurt the back of her foot when she walked. I ordered wide, but they looked and felt like normal width.

Sizing not consistent with other similar Stride Rite shoes - I purchased this shoe along with 2 other Stride Rite suede Mary Jane types at the same time. This one seemed to run narrower in the toe area and shorter in length than the others, when tried on and then held side by side for comparison. The others of the same size fit just fine. When I re-ordered in a half size larger, the new one was then too large and my daughter's heels kept slipping out of it when she walked, even when the strap was tightened. Not sure if the original shoe size was mismarked or these shoes just are made differently than other similar styles by Stride Rite. Too busy to order a third pair to figure it out.
