The Vaneli Iliad is a really comfortable shoe! I love the double strap look and they use it here with a stretchy material (with a bit of shine on the sides) to adjust to everyone's foot for a custom feel. The bottom/wedge heel of the shoe makes for real support, no wiggly wobbly feeling at all, really secure. It’s not what I would call a "mod" shoe, but it looks really great on and complements your foot. The reviews I read regarding sizing, made me initially order this shoe in a 1/2 size smaller (6.0M), but it was rather on the short side, so I ordered it again in my regular size, 6.5 M, which fit much better. My recommendation would be to try your regular size first and go from there. Great good looking comfy shoe, very versatile, goes with all sorts of outfits. Regular width was just about right.

This shoe has it all! It's very comfortable, although it's not a shoe you would wear if you were walking for hours on end (like touring NYC). It looks great and it's true to size. I'm a 4.5 and it fits perfect. I also love the color, Tmoro stretch with dark tortoise patent, which translated, is a very rich brown!!!

Walking on clouds - This shoe is a perfect fit. The sole is soft and comfortable with moderate arch support. I can walk in them day, which is very unusual for me. My only regret is that I did not purchase them in another color.

Nice, but cut into side of foot - These shoes were nice except for the fact that the tortoise part on the side that makes them look nicer cut into the side of my foot when I walked in them. I walked in the house only and I am returning the shoes. Too bad... I liked the little nubby things in the sole… made them feel more comforting.
