Sexy, comfortable, versatile boot - My favorite black boots died last spring, and I knew I'd have to replace them...so I was thrilled to find these -- and even more excited when they arrived! The high heel is not so high as to be unwalkable, and it's wide enough to give stability when you're walking. While the sole is a bit thinner and less flexible than I'd hoped, I was able to wear them all day with no problem, the first day I got them. And the look is definitely an attention grabber: the metal rings and leather straps at the ankle give an otherwise sleek-looking, dressy boot a touch of biker chic. I have fairly wide calves, and was afraid I might have trouble zipping these up, but they fit fine; the suede gives them a bit of slouchiness that you might or might not prefer. For me, it's perfect, as I wear them with longer skirts or cropped pants, and like the look of a slouchy boot. I think I have found my new favourites...

True to size. Completely comfortable. I am nine months pregnant and bought these to wear to an event and my feet did not hurt for the six hours that I wore them… truly.

Great boot!This was my third attempt on a boot to wear with skirts - wanted mid heel, but still somewhat dressy. Originally tried Stuart Weitzman Swashbuckler and Max Studio Radcliffe and sent both back in favor of this one. This fit perfectly in my "normal" size, REALLY comfortable, and looks great with mini skirts. Not too bulky on the calf and good heel height. I have other boots much higher that I can't wear for more than a couple of hours, but not true for this boot. This looks fine to wear to church or out to dinner. Good choice for my needs.

Vaneli Always a Great Fit!I love Vaneli. I wear a size 4.5, which is difficult to find. Often that means wearing shoes that look like their made for kids, or frumpy old women. Vaneli makes many shoes to fit my feet that are stylish, and even sexy. And they fit GREAT! This particular boot also fits my calf perfectly, which is another difficult task, because I have toothpick legs. Love this boot!

Wide calves - NOT!These boots are gorgeous in person. I have wide calves... 18 1/2... so when I clicked on boots for "wide calf", I was thrilled. Nothing wide about these. Guess I should be looking for boots that suggest "Fat Calves".
