Circumference measurement is wrong!I ordered these specifically because of the narrow circumference that is listed - 12 1/2 inches. I was sure that they would fit beautifully because they are supposed to be so much narrower than all of the other boots I have tried on. However, they're amazingly huge. You could fit my entire hand in them and still have a big gap. It's an extremely misleading, and inaccurate, measurement. If you are considering these because your narrow calves don't fit into most boots, don't bother!

Beauty that's a beast.Gorgeous boot made of lovely buttery leather. Tailoring and detailing are wonderful. Loved how they made my size 11 feet look dainty. Now the sad part. These boots became painful just trying them on. I've worn 4" heel boots at less that half the price that were far more comfortable. Oh well. Had to send them back.

Sexy and comfortable - The fit is perfect, these are great looking, great feeling boots! I'll definitely buy more Vaneli's!

Looks great - feels awful!These boots report to be a 16" circumference. They are more like a 13.5-14". So, for me, they did not work well. I have a 15" circumference. I was so disappointed. They do look beautiful, but are extremely uncomfortable. They are designed for someone with a narrow foot and skinny calves.

NOT wide calf!This is such a beautiful well-made boot. Which is why it breaks my heart to say I have to return them! I could barely zip it up past my ankles. I am swimming in Fitzwells, but this just didn't work for me. Maybe it would be better for someone with normal size legs. But if you've got a wide calf, it just won't zip. Save yourself the heartache!
