Good for the price - I bought these for the wide calf/stretch suede feature- and they come in a wide width- which is a rare thing in stylish boots. They fit and look great, and are VERY comfortable to walk in for an entire evening. My ONLY gripes are that the shaft does not go all the way to the knee, and consequently the shaft can slip below the widest part of the calf and begin to sag. The suede cloth is not as luxurious as it could be for the price. But I'll settle for a boot I can walk in and that is well constructed.

LOVE IT!GREAT boot for wide calves (I measure 16.75"). I usually wear an 11, but I ordered an 11.5 because Van Eli always runs short on me; the 11.5 fit perfectly. Nice pull on high boot with no zippers or distractions. Nice solid heel perfect for city walking.

Great Boot!Love these boots. They are really comfortable. The heel is a perfect height, not too high. I was skeptical about them being a pull on boot because I have a wide calf, but they went to smoothly with no problems. Calf is definitely wide enough. These boots are a keeper.

Looked too much like a shoe with socks - Not the sleek, elegant boot look I was hoping for; sent them back.

Pretty boot - First, this boot is not actually "stretch suede." Instead, it's a fabric upper. It's still a pretty, sexy boot. I'm between an 8 1/2 and 9, and the 9 is perfect for wearing with socks. The pointed toe is quite comfortable, which totally surprised me! Unfortunately, the boot is too generously cut through the ankle and calf for my leg, so it tends to "droop." For someone with a normal to slightly heavier leg, they'd probably work well.Thanks for the free return, Zappos!
