So, I'm a total surfer chic, and softball player. Sneakers always get too dirty getting to the field and flip flops mean I can't put my softball socks on til the dugout, so I needed a "slide." These rock because they fit tight to my feet and are adjustable if I need. They DEF are more cushiony than I expected too. I have thin feet so these Vans fit JUST like my other 900 pairs of Vans do. These don't widen at the front either, so they look normal and fit like sneakers. My only suggestion (this doesn't apply to me) is that I wouldn't use these as "shower shoes" because your feet sit on fabric, not plastic like those soccer sandals you can buy at the retail sports chains. Who wants those when you can look totally killer in these!

I am an avid Vans fan and I love these shoes almost more than my first pair of the classic slip-ons over 10 years ago. I would recommend these shoes to anyone for comfort, style, or functionality. My mom even wanted her own pair.

Very comfy and fun. The custom sizing you get with the velcro is great even on my super narrow feet. I think they're more suited to normal width feet, but if you don't mind a little extra flap action, narrow people can do these too. And they don't seem too bulky. Great at the pool!

Comfy - I wear these in the house as slippers. Slippers and sandals are always a problem for me because I have kind of narrow feet but can't wear narrow sizes. The Velcro closure is great and the elastic makes them even more comfortable. They are also very lightweight. I just ordered a second pair to hide away. They do run small, I wear a 9 1/2 and I had to get an 11. They don't look big either. Great shoe, great website. Thanks Zappos.
