ShannonCompliments galore - Narrow in ball of foot. Everyone says they are cute, and I can't resist a pink shoe.

Good for walking - I bought these primarily for walking, although I do day hiking when I travel a couple of times a year. I haven't yet determined how comfortable they will be for rocky hiking, but they're great on sidewalks, roadways, and other paved surfaces.

Great style and easy to lace - This is a nice breezy trail running shoe - a little light on arch support but soft comfortable interior with light ankle support and great laces that cinch easily when tying. Limon is a fun color and the soles are sturdy...this has less support for light hiking but is exceptionally comfortable and requires no break-in. This is my first day trying them out and my first pair of Vasque -- but probably not my last pair...

Alli ADifficult fit/very narrow heel - My recent purchase of Vasque Velocity was my first internet purchase of shoes! I have flat feet, thus a very low instep and a very narrow heel. When shoes fit improperly my heel rubs on the back of the shoe. I have worn through the lining of very expensive shoes in 10 days! Vasque are a perfect fit. I think they may have a better heel counter than other brands. I do not run trails; I use them for walking on asphalt and beaches. I wore the last pair for 6 months, walking 4 to 10 mile /day. The lining was like new, but the tread was showing quite a bit of wear. I prefer the higher cut of the Velocity; I feel it offers more support.
